I'm trying to configure Courier so that the POP3 login may be different from the
email. I'm using LDAP authentication. In this example the POP3 login user is raul.pruebahosting.com and the email is
ra...@pruebahosting.com

What I have in LDAP is: AccountName: raul.pruebahosting.com mail: ra...@pruebahosting.com homeDirectory: /home/courier clearPassword: sistemas maildir: /home/courier/raul.pruebahosting.com

and in the authldaprc config file: LDAP_MAIL AccountName LDAP_HOMEDIR homeDirectory LDAP_MAILDIR maildir LDAP_FULLNAME cn LDAP_CLEARPW clearPassword

LDAP_EMAILMAP (&(AccountName=@user@.@realm@)) LDAP_EMAILMAP_ATTRIBUTE mail LDAP_EMAILMAP_MAIL mail

POP3 has no problems at all. I can read the mail. Problems come when I try to
send a mail to this user, whose domain is in the hosteddomains database. Courier
starts searching in LDAP (first with the filter
"AccountName=raul.pruebahosting.com" and then with the filter
"mail=ra...@pruebahosting.com"), and it seems that it finds the correct LDAP
object because it reads all of its attributes, but finnally it says "450 Service
temporarily unavailable". Why is it?

On the other hand, everything is OK (pop3 and esmtp) when I use an AccountName
like "ra...@pruebahosting.com".

Any help, please?
