The gcore project is intended to provide enhanced functionality for debugging user-space processes from a system crash-dump with MDB.

The code currently in the repository represents some work done a few years ago by myself and updated and improved by Rich Lowe. There's still an awful lot of work to do, especially in terms of cleanup. However, it's better to have this out in public than sitting in mine and Rich's home directories... if anybody is interested in helping out, please let us know!
