I am trying to get subdirectories to work in Mail.app, it ONLY recognizes
INBOX, none of my other Maildirs work! For example, I keep all my ebay
receipts in INBOX.ebay, Entourage has no problem doing this, Mail.app
refuses to open INBOX.ebay :(

What effect are you looking for? Mail.app understands that INBOX is
both the root and a mailbox itself. It is supposedly picking this up
from the IMAP server through the appropriate way, according to
conversations I had with one of the developers of Mail.app last Fall.
