I am trying to convert my .sgml document to these other formats.

I have the DocBook tools from Cygnus:

jade-1.2.1-3 jadetex-2.7-0 sgml-common-0.1-2 docbook-3.1-5 stylesheets-0.10-2 tetex-0.9-6

I get the following error messages:

DVI file can't be opened.

results in a "proper" tronlineDOC.tex file , but then :

howardm:~/public_html/HOWTO$jadetex tronlineDOC.tex This is TeX, Version 3.14159 (Web2C 7.2) (Fatal format file error; I'm stymied)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "db2pdf" works O.K.

I'd appreciate any thoughts.
