Hi all,

Recently a few users have complained about card detection of their bt848 based TV cards which were solved by using the -current driver. (Mainly Hauppauge users and Hauppauge 404 cards with 878 chips)

As the -current driver has proved trustworthy, I think we should merge it into the -stable tree for inclusion in 2.2.8.

What do you think to this?

Bye Roger
