Hello, i trying to use userdb for clients auth (a poor man auth,as the manual say.....) and have a problem when try to use userdbpw tool. The string that i run was about: ./userdbpw -md5 | ./userdb riccardo set systempw But the pw once dial seem to be forget. I tryed successfully to run the command to translate from etc/passwd to userdb but I like to know why the above command does not work. I even run the makeuserdb command to create the .dat file but the result was the same. Where am i wrong? Some hints? Thanks in advance, hoping to write a good english ( only difficults for me......)
