The document ebxml messaging for gov.pdf has been submitted by John Borras (john@e-envoy.gsi.gov.uk) to the OASIS e-Government TC document repository.

Document Description: ebXML MESSAGING FOR GOVERNMENTS

The initial ebXML Message Specification was designed primarily for Business-to-Business communication, therefore a number of Government Specific Service Delivery requirements may not have been considered. The aim of this document is to provide an initial overview of the concepts and issues that are present within Government Service Delivery Models that may not be present within the normal Business-to-Business scenarios with a view to incorporating them into the Message Specification.

This draft is being published for the widest possible consultation. Please pass this request onto colleagues who may have an interest. All comments are welcomed by the Technical Committee, and the means of providing comments is set out in the document. The closing date for comments is 31 December 2003.
