Hi Franco,

I'm cc'ing the liftweb list, which is where you probably want to ask this question.

You can of course use lift without Maven. If you use the lift binary then it's just your Scala code and some jars in your classpath.

That said, is there an -easy- way to use lift without Maven? Not at the moment. Maven takes care of a lot of the pain of skeleton code (archetypes), compiling, packaging, and deploying.

I was skeptical of Maven at first, but since then I've changed my mind. I urge you to give Maven a try, DavidB has set it up such that it's really very painless.

Hi all.

I'd like to try Lift, but I don't like Maven very much. Is there a way to use Lift without Maven?

Are there some detailed instructions?

Thanks a lot.

Bye
