Hi Chris,
basic authentication is provided using the user & password attributes of the <invoke> test step. See the invoke section in the syntax reference for details.
There is also a simple example in the distribution (doc.zip) in samples\ssl which outlines the usage of basic authentication and HTTPS with server authentication.
Hope that helps, Carsten Carsten Seibert seiberTEC GmbH Switzerland mailto:seib...@seibertec.ch / phone: +41 79 636 4317

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but is there a way to login into a secure website? I've created 32,000+ tests to run against our webapp in our Development and alpha enviroments, which are on our intranet. However, our beta is on the internet and of course it is secured w/ a Login that must be authenticated. Is it possible to authenticate w/ WebTest? If so could you give me an example?
Thanks,
Chris Roskelley
