We run our Perforce server on a Linux box with users running NT, Win9x and Linux p4 clients. The server is solid and we have not had any problems with running on Linux. Also, we have not run into any case issue with this setup whereas I know you'll have case issues with NT as your server.

It seems like the case issues can bite you in either direction. With a Unix server, the Unix clients can create files with different case that Windows users can't distinguish.

Yuck. Why would you run NT for perforce? If you have any UNIX users at all, the case-issue can bite you. We're moving to a Solaris x86 box ourselves. Piaw
