I have exactly this issue... and passing the thumbnail parameter hasnt yet solved it I have this feed http://photos.googleapis.com/data/feed/api/user/flohmedia?kind=album&thumbsize=160
Being loaded by this swf http://www.flohmedia.com/--testing/floh/portflohlio.swf
The xml feed is being loaded fine, but in regard of the images themselves I have errors ( as you'll see if you have flash 9 debug player) If I dont check for the policy file it complains, if i do check for the policy it tells me "No policy files granted access"
Help????

Hi Derk,
The servers do referer checking and only allow images <=800px at the maximum dimension to go through with a non-empty referer.
Try retrieving the link for the photos using either the imgmax or thumbsize
URL parameters when retrieving the
feed:http://code.google.com/apis/picasaweb/reference.html#Parameters
For instance, retrieving the following
URL:http://picasaweb.google.com/data/feed/api/user/gdata.ops.demo/album/A...
Yields content URLs
like:http://lh3.google.com/gdata.ops.demo/R076IhmijsI/AAAAAAAAAI4/jppU5oZY...
Notice the /s800/ in the URL - indicating the maximum size at the largest dimension is 800 pixels.
