We have an NT server with some files transferred from a remote site. The product was only previous built on Windows but is now being ported to Unix. So the developer is hitting some issues with the case used in file names. But the case is not consistent. I think that there were more than one developer on this project. If they used different cases in the filenames when adding files, they could have caused the problems we're experiencing now. But would not have noticed the problem as they were on NT. Does this explanation seem reasonable ? What I've suggested to the developer is to save the client spec to a file and add this file to Perforce for future reference.
