it's not too much of a problem, but does force me to issue another
request to the snippets feed to determine the number of items. Having
the count consistently returned would improve the efficiency for
determining such a value.

This may seem a bit strange and the team is discussing different
options, but for now I think this will continue to happen. I'll let
