Lemastre,
The writeup, to which you referenced, does describe the refresh process, involving 'double-buffering' and 'triple-buffering,' which I didn't quite understand until I read it. (The author doesn't think much of nVidia, does he?)
Apparently, SketchUp's 'fast feedback' is connected with the screen 'buffering' functions provided by the OpenGL driver. Since some drivers provide an interface that permits changing many graphics card settings, perhaps playing with the buffering settings could resolve your problem.
(But then again, the SketchUp toggle for 'fast feedback' may be doing just that - automatically.)
Taff
