Dann, I'm new to inlining, but I changed to gadget and it seems to work great. My only question is, how come I get the warning message "This gadget requires inlining..." when I add the gadget, but other gadgets that require inlining don't give me that warning. Is there a way to bypass that message for my users? (I don't want them to get freaked out.)

Hey tjharding,

Your gadget must be inlined in order to adopt the CSS rules of the selected theme. In addition, you must not be manually overriding the default colors with your own CSS rules. Otherwise, the default rules set by the theme will be overridden.

If your gadget meets both requirements and is still showing different text color, then something else must be wrong. Post your gadget URL and I'll be happy to take a look.

Thanks!

Dann

The official Google Reader gadget seems to be suffering from this too

My gadgets seem to be the only ones that don't have their text change color with the default color of the selected theme. Mine stay blue no matter what. What do I need to change?
