Someone with broken DNS configuration does not appear to be a likely candidate for religious monitoring of their postmaster mailbox.

However, that very same person (almost certainly) doesn know their DNS configuration is broken, and maybe the only way to let them know is to send them mail in this fashion. If *I* were more of an idiot more frequently, I'd hope that from time-to-time people would be kind enough to let me know. ;-)
