I even tried creating .courier, .courier-default, and .courier-john files in vince's home directory, but none of it works.

Is there something else I might be overlooking to get a all mail to a virtual domain as a catch all to work?

Yes.

1. You did not set this machine's hostname. Initialize the 'me' configuration file.

2. You will also need to create .courier files. See "VIRTUAL DOMAINS" in the makealiases man page.

Thanks Sam.

I got it working. I had read the "VIRTUAL DOMAINS" section of the man page several times. I'm not sure what I was doing wrong. I had tried creating .courier-default in my home directory but I must have had something else wrong at the time. I guess I since fixed what ever the other problem was because, when I re-created the .courier-default file, it started working this time.
