Hi, and thanks sam,
When i tryed your suggest i get:
firewall:/usr/lib/courier/courier-authlib# ( echo "oldpassword"; echo
"newpassword" ) | authsystem.passwd
-bash: authsystem.passwd: command not found
firewall:/usr/lib/courier/courier-authlib#
and if i indicate the full path of the authsystem.passwd get
firewall:/usr/lib/courier/courier-authlib# ( echo "oldpassword"; echo
"newpassword" ) | /usr/lib/courier/courier-authlib/authsystem.passwd
spawn /usr/bin/passwd
Enter new UNIX password:
Retype new UNIX password:
Sorry, passwords do not match
passwd: Authentication information cannot be recovered
passwd: password unchanged
firewall:/usr/lib/courier/courier-authlib#
this information says more about what i can't change the passwords using
webmail interface?,
It says that you must run authsystem.passwd under the userid of whatever
user's password you wish to change.
Try again.
