I seem to frequently get into this state:

[root@beecave vircio]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/courier-imap stop Stopping Courier-IMAP server: imap imap-ssl [root@beecave vircio]# ps auxwww|grep '[i]map' [root@beecave vircio]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/courier-imap start Starting Courier-IMAP server:bind: Address already in use ll_daemon_start: Bad file descriptor imapbind: Address already in use ll_daemon_start: Bad file descriptor imap-ssl [root@beecave vircio]#

This has been happening with 1.0. I'm in the process of trying to install 1.1 (with the buggy imap client patch).
