Hi there,

Ian Ward about the "New Mail"-Feature:

IMAP: 09:09:41 [db] OnNotify: asOld = 5, asNew = 5, ae = 3 Would it be possible for Courier to notify on delivery? perhaps a compile option. Perhaps maildrop could give courier imap a SIGHUP ?

No, not really a SIGHUP. And then -> to which of the many just running? ;)

If compiled with Maildirquota, it should be no problem for the imap-daemons to tell the client that "something" has happened (everytime mtime of the quotafile changes).

Thanks in advance for your time looking or commenting on this.

Yes, this could get into a really nice feature ;) Sam? You're the RFC-one, will this behavior be in spec?

Regards, Ian Ward ia@cyberpro.com.au

Cu, Oliver
