Feature Request: make it possible to embed a single display in an
external website, but have multiple calendars' events shown on it,
possibly at different privacy levels.
In other words, it would be nice to be able to embed the same display
you get when you log into Google Calendar into an external site, but
with privacy controls.
Use Cases:
- University Faculty/Staff: A professor may have one calendar for each
research group or lab he/she is associated with, as well as one for
any of their classes and possibly a personal calendar. Each of these
could be added to a single calendar display embedded in the
professor's personal web page so that students could identify when
that professor is available.
- Small/Home Businesses: The webmaster of a small business may want
to put all of the employees' availability on a calendar on the company
website for clients to use when scheduling appointments. By
implementing a mashup, each employee could retain control of their own
"Availability Calendar," and the web display would remain up-to-date.
- Individuals: An individual may wish to have different default
privacy settings and/or different colors for different types of
activities, yet still publish their entire schedule on a single
display. For example, a soccer mom may want to have the soccer team's
schedule publicly visible as one calendar while having her kids'
academic events as a separate, private, calendar.
