Thanks ok, the /usr/lib/bin was not in my PATH i now succeeded to install swebmail. but still I get an invalid user ID or password message

Please don't post to me privately, send your messages to the list.

I wanted to reuse the mysql sqwbmail table i created some time ago. So i configured my authmysqlrc to use my mysql server, the dtabase sqwebmail and the table passwd I changed my authdaemonrc to allow authmysql. when I try authtest with only my user i get Authenticated: marc (uid 500, gid 100) Home Directory: /home/marc Maildir: (none) Quota: (none) Encrypted Password: qllux95 Cleartext Password: (none) Options: (none) when i try with password i get Authentication FAILED: Operation not permitted So what's wrong now ?

Is the encrypted password really 'qllux95'? I'd say that was a plaintext password.
