Okay folks,

Last silly question.

I created a couriermlm list called tcob1news. I added the user and in /home/tcob1news, I created the .courier-list etc files. However any mail

to Make sure you created your .courier file that contains | /usr/bin/couriermlm msg listdir

and .courier-default that contains | /usr/bin/couriermlm ctlmsg listdir

The first one appears to work okay but tcob1news-[help/subscribe] get eith an unknown user or if I add the alias

An alias cannot be used.

Removed that.

<tcob@tcob1.net>: <<< This message looks like an administrative request. The address <<< <mailto:tcob@tcob1.net> is NOT <<< for administrative requests. This is the posting address for <<< the mailing list itself. For additional help, write to <<< <mailto:tcob@tcob1.net>. To reach <<< the mailing list administrator, write to

I have a feeling that the alias is not required but that I need to enable something for either couried or estmpd

Nothing in courierd or esmtpd cares about what you run from .courier files.

I sorted it now.
