Target: sca-policy-1.1-spec-cd04.doc
Description:
The SCA Policy specification contains a small number of normative
statements that are either themselves optional, or which
relate to optional functionality.
These statements give a problem both with regard to testing and to the
exit criteria for the specification.
The statements involved are as follows:
Optional statements:
POL40031
POL40033
POL80001
POL80002
Statements relating to optional function (in all cases, the function is
redeployment, which is not a required capability for an SCA runtime)
POL40029
POL40030
POL40032
Proposal:
Remove the optional parts of POL80001 & POL80003
Downgrade all of the remaining listed statements to non-normative advisory
text.
The implementation of these proposals is shown in wd041 of the Policy spec
