This is just an FYI for Mr. Sam and whoever else may maintain the doc and the configure process.

This is from the INSTALL file:

wbnodsn - set to a non-zero value then the option to request delivery confirmation receipts will not be shown. Delivery confirmation receipts require the local mail server to support RFC 1894 delivery status notifications, and some mail servers do not implement DSNs. Qmail does not implement DSNs, so this file is created by default since most SqWebMail installations use Qmail. Remove this file if the local mail server is not Qmail, and it implements DSNs.

Probably the statement "this file is created by default" is a leftover from previous version in its mention of a file.

However, it still leaves me with the expectation that the default will follow qmail's limitation and disable delivery confirmation receipts.

This seems not to be the case. My interface showed the option prior to my modifying authdaemonrc to correct this. Is this a bug in the ./configure? Or in the doc?

In any case it looks like this section of the doc could benefit from a tiny bit of clarification.

Thanks. If anyone needs more info about my configuration, let me know.
