Hi list,

I hope this isn't a FAQ, but I can't seem to find any references about it. I am still testing courier-IMAP and the only issue I have is concerning read receipts. I have Outlook 2002 (which is what most of our users have and are very adament about it as well) configured to never send a delivery or read receipt yet when I get an email via IMAP that is requesting a read receipt it will send it without my knowledge. This dosen't happen with pop mail, or with other IMAP clients (tested Eudora and Opera).

I'm not sure if this is a M$ problem or not. I suspect it may be since Outlook will not allow IMAP folders to be a default store and this will prevent IMAP folders from being displayed in the "Outlook Today" page, per Microsoft's knowledge base. But I can find no mention of the read receipt issue other than how to enable or disable them.

So long story short, has anyone else seen this behavior? Is it known and I'm just missing a FAQ somewhere? Or is there a Courier config to work around this?

Thanks in advance,

- Derek
