hi ropu,

understand the issue re regular checkout flow, although at time of writing, it's the nearest we CRE folk had to a working module to use GC .. x-(

that said, .. i've just managed to implement this approch, which i believe *does* comply with GC TOS:

however, it results in the exact same "£0" VAT when you reach google (whilst everything else looks dandy).

as such, and hence my previous post, it really does seem to me it's less to do with the implementation of the CRE modules themselves and something more to do with how GC is setting the VAT rating itself, surely ..?

end of the day, just can't help but feel it *must* be a simple fix to get either of these two appoaches working fully, i.e. "inc VAT" for UK customers ..?

again, any thoughts/quick help would be incredibly appreciated ..?! x-)

u may want to have a look to the includes/modules/payment/google.php class, in the unction gen_shopping_cart($orders_id) method.

an other thing i saw is that is part of the regular checkout flow of CRE, so doesnt comply with GC TOS. :S

as for this being "old", it kinda is ;-). still, don't really see how that should be a worry - since the actual handshake is happening, just google is extracting the value from the wrong place ..? also, like to believe such a single issue couldn't be that complicated - at least in theory, for those with any idea of how these things tend to be coded etc (i live a dream-like existence, as you can see ;-).
