Hello,

Julian's post yesterday motivated me to let everyone here know that I also have developed a tool that allows users to self-manage their own Maildrop vacation/autoresponder messaging options in a web interface. It is used with the SquirrelMail webmail system (http://squirrelmail.org) and allows the user to store the autoresponse subject and text (even when the autoresponse is turned off), and specify any number of forwarding addresses for incoming mail as well as whether or not to keep a copy of incoming mail on the local account. A sample Maildrop filter is included in the tool's documentation.

It may be downloaded from:

http://squirrelmail.org/plugin_view.php?id=187

Cheers,

Paul
