I have a 300MHZ AMD machine setup with 64 meg of ram I am trying to turn into a mail server running redhat 7.0. I am using postfix and courier-imap. Everything seems to be fine with the postfix. I can receive and send mail from my server. When I try to hook-up via outlook or outlook express I always get an error. I have ran "tail -f /var/log/maillog" and can see the connection along with telneting to port 25. I seem to have a problem connecting using both pop3 and imap. Where can I look to see what may be causing these problems? The pop3 will not allow me to send any mail out either, mail can be sent from the server. The main.cf on the post fix is set up to allow all ip's on my network to send. All of these are related and I must be missing something, I am just not sure what. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have run out of things to check. Tom Atkins MIS Administrator
