I have read many of your postings on this mailing list and I find that you are
very opinionated and rude. Work on your manners, and then we'll talk about
"asking questions the smart way." My email is quite appropriate, as Courier is
the main problem I am having - Postfix is working fine - it's the maildrop
program that is giving me the hardest time, but you'd know that if you didn't
focus on the fact that Postfix is a part of the package I have chosen to
implement.

INFORMATION USEFUL TO DIAGNOSE PROBLEMS  Please let me know what information would be appropriate to post in order to help diagnose the problems I am having - including any commands that would supply this information. I'm unsure where to start. If anyone can help me, please let me know. Thank you in advance for your assistance!   POSTCONF

One thing that's definitely not appropriate here is your Postfix configuration.

This is not the Postfix mailing list.

If you're trying to install Courier, then you need to explain what exactly do you expect to accomplish by installing two competing mail servers, Postfix and Courier, at the same time.

If you're trying to install Courier-IMAP, the courier-imap mailing list is thataway →.

You should also find the following generic information helpful in trying to obtain help for your problem: http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html
