That list is hard-coded in shale-core/src/site/site.xml.
With ${modules} I noticed some strangeness in whether or not Maven would render a link to the sub-module or just text in the menu. It *might* have to do with whether there is an index.xml file for that module.
I've got a bunch of stuff to do and can't look at this until late tonight, but I think I've got everything else on the site fixed up enough for an initial announcement. Does someone want to work up proposed text we can send around?
To avoid spamming attacks, though, I ask that the announcement just point at the mailing lists page (http://shale.apache.org/mail-lists.html) instead of listing the individual email addresses in the text of the announcement message.
We also need to remove the 'Struts' logo at the top right, and fix the
list of links (Apache | Action | Action 2 | Shale) just below that. Both of those should also be in site.xml
ISTR the blue-and-white logos are done in GIMP and the source file is somewhere at Jakarta... any ideas?
For the logo, I'd like to go with James's idea of having a contest for user submitted logos (both for the site and for a "Powered by Shale" image that apps could use). The prerequisite is you have to subscribe to the user list to submit :-).
