Since WB is able to import DBD4 models it is a safe bed to stay with DBD4

I used dbd4 on win a while ago. now I run Linux as my main os, and
can't get dbd4 to run. on a fairly clean install of Ubuntu Edgy:
juser@e18:~/src/dbd4/DBDesigner4$ ./startdbd
Create symbolic links in /home/juser/src/dbd4/DBDesigner4/./Linuxlib ...
/home/juser/src/dbd4/DBDesigner4
Starting DBDesigner4 ...
juser@e18:~/src/dbd4/DBDesigner4$
Is the the 'right' place to talk about dbd4?
Any chance of getting a 4.0.5.6 version of dbd4 compiled for Linux?
