may have to add a set postmaster line to the .fetchmailrc file. Thirdly, and most annoyingly, you can't change FETCHMAIL-DAEMON@localhost. I've added localhost to my locals file and aliased FETCHMAIL-DAEMON to POSTMASTER, but it still won't deliver.

And fourthly, delivery status notifications should use an empty envelope sender, not postmaster@anything, not fetchmail-daemon@anything.

Actually, that all worked. Turns out that the file defaultdomain had the wrong listing and when I changed that, it all cleared up. Thanks guys.

Another question now that fetchmail delivers mail. I created a mailbox with maildirmake in /home/pete/mail and I can login as pete with my password and create directories and subscribe to folders, but the mail that fetchmail delivers to pe@fqdn.net never shows up. I've picked through maildirmake for a while, but don't see the reason there and there isn't anything in the FAQ either. Sorry to keep buggin, but I am still learning about this whole mail thing. Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

This must be a configuration option, but I can't find anything in the sysconfdir that seems like it would correspond. Hopefully this is simple and I am just missing it. Thanks.
