Null varchar storage requirement
I know with MySQL 5.0, ndb tables do not correctly support var chars and
that they are treated as a char in terms of the storage requirement, but

Yes.
Possible bug with upgrading to latest 5.0.24 rpms
I wrote an e-mail to list last week detailing the the problems I had
upgrading to the latest 5.0.24 rpms (from 5.0.21), but I didn't get that
many replies... has anyone else successfully upgraded to this version?
and if so, can anyone tell me the steps they took to do it?

(Debian and derivatives all the way here)
