I sent this question to the wrong list yesterday; sorry about that. How does maildrop determine where to look up usernames and passwords? On my system, it's looking for /etc/pwd.db, but I want it to look for userdb.dat. I've perused the manual and searched the web, and I'm still stumped.

userdb, if compiled is searched first. If not found, getpw() is used as the last resort.
