Hi. I have just investigating courier-imap with the intention of putting it in a production environment as soon as I can. However, I'm having a bit of a show-stopper problem! Many apologies if this has been discussed before; it may well be user error on my part:

Using the mailmakedir command, I am able to make hierarchies of subfolders, all of which can be seen successfully from within MS Outlook (the browser which, alas, is used by almost all of our employees). However, Outlook seems incapable of creating NEW subfolders. All attempts to create subfolders give the error "The folder <parentfoldername> cannot contain subfolders" etc. An attempt to create a folder called "Fish.Chips" gives the error "Fish.Chips is not a valid folder name because it contains the '.' which is the hierarchy delimiter for this server".

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Matthew
