Hi everybody,

I have a suggestion to enhance the FileAppender: When the path to a given file is not existent the FileAppender failes because it
cannot generate the logging file. I think it would be more comfortable for the
user if the subdirectories are automatically (perhaps configurable by a new
option) generated.
