Another comment on this...

Upgrade to Mozilla 0.9.9 It's an old Netscape bug.

The guy that complained uses the old netscape with a number of other imap servers and never has any problem... so even though it may be a Netscape bug, it must also have something to do with courier, since this problem only happens when he connects to courier...
