Having been at different levels over the last four years I have to agree. In addition, this changing of the password almost every time I login means I have to write down my password, rather than try to remember which of the 8 versions I used.

Few things are more insecure than a written down password.

Which, as an online member, I don't have access to even after I jump through the hoops. So why do I have to jump through them?

Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for the free developer tools, it's just that password protection for a free service (and one that I only visit every two or three months) is pointless and irritating. I mean, I ended up creating a new account (but still haven't succeeded in downloading the December devtools). How does that benefit anyone, even Apple, who now has two records for the same person?
