Zitiere Sam Varshavchik <mrs...@stop.mail-abuse.org>:
i create the folder TEST it shows to me:
| |-INBOX. |-TEST |-TEST2
but i am not able to create the folder like:
| |-INBOX. |-TEST |-1sttest <-- this is the my problem, |-2ndtest |-TEST2
thanx
This is the exact same problem I'm seeing, and I _did_ set the root folder path correctly.
I am looking a draft paper for something called a "Child Mailbox Extension", and I see that it's written by two guys from Microsoft. It's not an official IMAP extension, it's only in a draft stage, but I have a sneaky feeling that MS Lookout has implemented it liew of the usual ways of obtaining the folder hierarchy tree.
It's actually not a bad thing to have, from a technical standpoint, and it can be implemented in ten minutes. I'll put it in, and we'll see what happens.
Unfortunately, it looks like implementing this will break Pine. So this will be an optional configuration setting.
this mean m$ outlook uses an extended imap? and with normal courier it is not possible to create folders like shown above? what is doing netscape? i have to check, the button "server supports folders with subfolders and messages" ? (but rigth now i wasnt unable to test netscape :-(
greetings thomas
