I've seen that link before, and I disagree with it entirely.

The email is NOT coming from the person. It is coming from the email listserv, who got it from the person. Default replies should go to the listserv, which sent the mail.

"_______________________________________________ courier-users mailing list cour@lists.sourceforge.net Unsubscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/courier-users "

Did you type that at the bottom of your email? I sure know that I didn't type it on mine! (except for just now :P) The email came from the listserv.

Worth noting is that two other lists I'm on switched to yahoo groups (ICK) to get away from sourceforge for this exact reason.

Anyways, sourceforge uses mailman, and mailman creator shares that point of view, so it's not going to be "fixed," so there's no point in arguing it.

Hey Sysop!

Did you know that, Patrick Walsh's mdropspamfilter found at <http://sourceforge.net/projects/mdropspamfilter/> systematically rejects all your postings as potential spam? :)

Apparently they are missing the 'To:' header. Just thought I'd let you

know.

This is becuase of the fscking listserv refuses to put these messages as FROM cour@lists.sourceforge.net so if you just hit reply, it only goes back to the author of the message, not the list. One of the most annoying things about sourceforge. There for I hit reply all, and just wipe out the to: <author>, which leaves the CC: to courier-users. Unless people like getting duplicates of most the replies to the list.... I know I don't....

Perhaps somebody can bitch at sourceforge to fix this....

This is a feature:
