I'am going to migrate from Communigate to Courier mail server. Tell me please: Did any body do such things? What difficulties are waiting for me? Most of all I'd like to know, how to migrate users to courier with u-cript passwords from Communigate? Must I write some kind of script by myself, or may be there are special utils? I have about 300 users. And how can I move mail between boxes? Systems: freeBSD.

It depends on a few things. First, what mail storage are you using for the Communigate accounts? I believe Communigate supports Maildir as well as mbox, Courier only supports Maildir which is the much faster and more reliable of the two. You'll need to convert any mbox mailbox over to Maildir. Also, what backend authentication method are you using in Communigate and do you plan to use in Courier? If you already have something like LDAP, things should be easy.
