If I am delivering using maildrop, have I not disabled dot-courier delivery?

Nope. One of .courier commands might as well be to invoke maildrop.

Sam-

My goal is to use maildrop as the courier-mta system-wide delivery mode, and take advantage of couriermlm's mailing list features in a sane manner.

Could you elaborate a little bit more? If I configure courier-mta to use maildrop as its delivery mode, why would I want to call maildrop from .courier? The maildrop man page has no mention of reading .courier files.

I intended to use maildrop for user delivery as it makes it easier to support features (from a provisioning standpoint) such as:

*server side sorting/filtering *autoreplies *store and forward *spam filtering *virus filtering

How do you recommend configuring courier to support these features?
