1.Check Authdaemond mysql is running 2.Make sure that your mysql.sock is actually in the /tmp directory (do a find / -name mysql.sock -print)

Those are my values (the 127.0.0.1 came from a test) these variables are all standard in the authmysqlrc file, i didn't invent any of them :)
in my authdaemondrc i changed the following:
authmodulelist="authmysql" version="authdaemond.mysql"
That's what the tutorial told me to do, but the mysqlquery log isn't even showing an connection attempt.
BTW running "/lib/courier-imap/libexec/imapd.rc" start is enough to start the whole thing isn't it?(imap , not pop)
When I telnet to localhost 143 i get a imap screen, so the thing is runnign & listening, just not working (yet).

read the commnts there carefully, and dont invent your own. at least this lines are bad:

and I can't login with pop nor imap, my mysqlquerylog is showing no connection attemps whatsoever :(
no surprise at all ;)
