Thank you Szala for pointing the issue,

This is some thing that needs to be fixed in asterisk and not in the GUI,

well we can replace the 'variable=>value' with 'variable=value' while building the URI string, but that is not what we are trying to do here.

I have just filed a bug report for this http://bugs.digium.com/view.php?id=9568

I hope this will be fixed soon.

thanks -Pari

I did some toying around with this new feature to add new config files through file editor. Whenever I introduce => "sign" funny things strat to happen. Try putting some a line like in extensions.conf: exten => blahblahblah and open it in any file editor. And vice versa in any editor put this kind of line as you would in extensions.conf and try to edit it in file editor. See what is displayed when editing and what is saved.

Cheers

Hi!

I seem to have a problem with asterisk gui file editor. Whenever I try to edit contents of any context in my custom extensions.conf file, after saving only last line in that context remains. Every other line in this particular context in erased (both lines that were edited as well as those untouched). I tried this with different context e.g. my [system-menu] and this happens. Just now I tried it with sip.conf and it works.

Lines from extensions.conf that are beding edited in file editor are displayed in format: exten=Dial,1,(SIP/100) instead of: exten => Dial(SIP/100)

maybe something to do with spaces and => sign??

I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.3.

System info diplayed in gui:

Asterisk Build: Asterisk 1.4.2 Asterisk GUI-version Revision: 656 $

Any ideas??

Thanks in advance.

Peter
