This is how I have it configured

/etc/courier/aliases/mydomain.org @mydomain.org: vince

/etc/courier/locals localhost

jo@mydomain.org: vince

to /etc/courier/aliases/mydomain.org, it delivers it to vince just fine.

I even tried creating .courier, .courier-default, and .courier-john files in vince's home directory, but none of it works.

Is there something else I might be overlooking to get a all mail to a virtual domain as a catch all to work?

Yes.

1. You did not set this machine's hostname. Initialize the 'me' configuration file.

2. You will also need to create .courier files. See "VIRTUAL DOMAINS" in the makealiases man page.
