I created a subfolder in Netscape 7 and another with courier's maildirmake -f command. Netscape could see both but it took three tries to get Netscape to subscirbe to the folder I created with maildirmake. At first it said I was refused subscription by the server. I don't have logs for that.
I did capture logs for a session with squirrelmail:

The disconnects bother me. There are errors on the squirrelmail page.
Tried to create a subfolder in 'none' - which should mean a top level folder like Maildir/.Test.

More disconnects. I am building with the --enable-workarounds now and trying again.
Squirrelmail never does see any of the subfolders in my Maildir.
If you have knowledge of this situation, please share.
By the way, I did try to search the archive at Sourceforge but it says the group no longer exists. FYI.
