The Board approved a set of changes to the TC Process (http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/process.php) effective 1 March 2008.

Here’s a summary:

Definitions: Added Specification Approval Motion Related to Designated Cross-References in section 2.18 http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/process.php#dSpecApprovalMotion

Sections 2.2/2.3: Clarified the timing constraints related to a TC’s first meeting 30 days for teleconference 45 days for face-to-face (even if teleconferencing facilities are provided) http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/process.php#formation http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/process.php#firstMeeting

Section 2.18: Added a requirement that a TC must designate one of the three required specification formats (editable source, XHTML/HTML, and PDF) as authoritative http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/process.php#specQuality

Section 2.19: Designated Cross-Reference Changes New section. http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/process.php#crossRefs
