hi

I wonder if there's a patch for courier to set individual connection limit (maximum number of connections from the same IP) for specific IPs. It seems to be very useful for sites using socks, proxies and other kind of gateways at the same time with plain clients connecting directly. Nowdays that Thunderbird and such create multiple connections by default, you have to limit their ability to do so, but keep limits high enough for proxies.

Second issue is enforcing time between logins for users. Some tend to set poll interval to 10sec or less, which can easily kill the server. They don't have to poll technically, but you can't tell them not to do this unless you can enforce it.

Anyone ?
