Subject:[courier-users] courier incompatible with portions of the openwall patchActions...

I wanted to alert the list that you cannot run courier with the "no hard links in /tmp" part of the openwall patch to the linux kernel enabled. It refuses to start and messages are logged to the console to the effect that links are being denied to the courier process.

Sam, any possibility that courier could instead create its links in /usr/lib/courier/tmp or something like that?

Thanks, John

p.s. see http://www.openwall.com/linux/ for the openwall security patches to the kernel.
